A cliff-top ceremony above the Amalfi Coast, a lemon-grove dinner and dancing until the stars came out.

Amelia and Jonah met in a bookshop in Edinburgh and wanted a wedding that felt like the start of a long summer holiday. Ravello, with its gardens hanging over the sea, was the only place on their list.

A ceremony on the Terrace of Infinity

We kept the ceremony short and the chairs few: 96 guests, wild white florals and a string trio playing the song from their first dance class. The light did the rest.

Dinner in the lemon grove

Long tables ran beneath the lemon trees, dressed in linen and low candles, with a menu built around the villa's own garden. Dessert was a tower of sfogliatelle, and nobody left before midnight.
